Short Overview This course provides Project Managers with the knowledge and skills needed to master the PMBOK® Guide Fifth Edition and attain the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. The PMP® credential is the most widely accepted project certification in the world and the framework on which it is based has set the standard for the project management profession for 25 years. This course is intended to enhance a student’s project experience with global terminology and the proven framework for leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources. The Project Management Institute has modified the previous body of knowledge to consist of forty-two project processes within five process groups and nine knowledge areas. This course will cover these processes in a logical, sequential, and effective way to quickly and effectively prepare learners for the PMP Certification Exam.

§  Process groups (Initiating process group; Planning process group; Executing process group; Monitoring and controlling process group; Closing process group

§  What is project cycle? How are the process groups related, what is PMO, the roles and responsibilities of the project manager?

§  What is customer satisfaction? The roles of project sponsor, the roles of stakeholders

§  Project team, types and differences in organizational structures, what is project charter

§  Project Integration Management: Statement of work, project plan, earn value management, how to manage changes in the project, workshop

§  Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): what is it, and how to make it? Workshop

§  Project Scope Management: Scope planning, how to collect requirements, how to define the scope

§  Project Time Management: defining activities on project, how to make schedule diagram, how to define the scope

§  Project Time Management: the different types of dependencies between activities, Critical path method, resource and time estimating, Program Evaluation and Review Technique, Project calendar, Workshop

§  Project Cost Management: costs estimating, types of costs, cost controlling, determine budget

§  Project Quality Management: quality planning, what is quality, quality assurance, quality control

§  Human Resource Management: types of people, conflicts and managing the conflicts on project, planning the team, RACI matrix, developing the team, virtual teams

§  Project Communication Management: communication planning, types of communication, how to communicate, reporting on project, how to establish communication channels, how to manage the stakeholders, how to manage conflict communication, Workshop

§  Project Risk Management: risk definition, types of the risks, risk factors, risk register

§  Project Risk Management: risk response planning, risk triggers, managing the risks, Workshop

§  Project Procurement Management: procurement planning, types of contract, preparation for BID, vendor selection, procurement managing and controlling, contract closing

Trainer Information
Short bio                Tomche Hristovski is PMP and Scrum Master Trainer with 15 years professional experience in IT and telecom domain. He has an extensive experience in managing complex international projects. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunications and is holding the following certificates: PMP® (Project Management Professional), PSM® (Professional Scrum Master), Customer Facing Project Manager, Project Management in Telecommunications, ITILF ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
